Scooter Time

So Neil and I discovered that we had an upcoming dilemma that needed to be solved. We only own one car, but we coach two different soccer teams. I coach a girls team that plays on Thursday nights and Saturday mornings at 10:30 am. Neil coaches a team that plays on Wednesday nights and Saturday morning at 10:30 am. Not to mention practices on the same days... Oh and did I mention that Neil's home field is in North Logan and my home field is in Hyrum? Yeah, one car was not going to cut it. Neil suggested we look at scooters and I agreed. We went to Greenline Scooters (a new scooter store on Main Street kinda by Angie's) and they gave us a killer deal! We now own a scooter and Neil really couldn't be more excited. He's been trying to convince me to get one since before we got married, but this soccer dilemma finally convinced me. Good thing we'll save a ton on gas!

Neil is teaching me the mechanics of running a scooter. The confused look on my face is not a trick, I really was confused.

Ready for a crazy drive around the parking lot... hence the reason why we're not wearing helmets. Promise we own a helmet! And plan on wearing it every time!

Back from the crazy drive around the parking lot. People were staring, just fyi.

Trying it on my own.

I would also like to give a shout out to my mom for helping us out with this purchase, and also to Sly for being the photographer while I learned the inner workings of How To Run A Scooter.

Trip To Salt Lake

Kami and I decided to take a day-trip to Salt Lake on Tuesday! It was quite fun. We left around 10 in the morning. We first stopped for lunch at Tucano's, a brazilian grill at the Gateway. It was really good.

Next, we went to TeamGear, a soccer store in Murray. We should never go to soccer stores because all we do is burn money. But at least its soccer stuff, I guess.

They didn't have the shirt I was looking for, so we next went to the new Real Salt Lake Team Store at the new stadium. We were in browsing and I found a jersey that I really liked so I picked my size out and looked at the tag. $100. Kami asked me how much it was. I told her and then said "ok," as I put the shirt down.

Next thing I know, the manager comes up and tells us that he "was just authorized to give us 50% off anything in the store!" Can you believe that? How lucky are we? We totally got the jersey, and a t-shirt and some sweet shorts. What a deal!

Anyway, then we went home. Fun day!

I've Got A Web Number!

In honor of Joe Biden, I got a web number!

Ok, really I created my own web PAGE, but Biden apparently doesn't really know how the internet works because he called it a web number.

Anyway, check it out! Its all my art/design/anything creative stuff and I did my best to have some fun with it.
