Good Food

For those of you who know Neil and I really well, you know that one of our favorite pastimes is eating. We both love good food and always try to make an effort to try out new restaurants that open up in Cache Valley. We had the opportunity to eat at three new restaurants this week, and we loved all of them!

The first one was Andy's Burgers & Fries. It's located next to Black Pearl in North Logan and was YUMMY! The burgers taste delicious, and the fries and onion rings are way good. The fries reminded us of In-N-Out Burger fries because they are fresh-cut fries, which make them delicious.

The second place we ate this week was Pounder's Aloha Grill. It's a tiny place on the south end of Main Street and has only been open for a month. It was super busy when we went in there, but the food was totally worth the wait. The menu is super simple and Neil and I both got the Pounder's Plate, which is a plate with two scoops of rice, two choices of meat, and some macaroni salad. We recommend the Pounder's Chicken (Fried chicken with a sweet taste) and the Teriyaki Chicken. It was so good and I felt like I was in Hawaii again- the food was just as good if not better!

And last but not least, we went to Kaiman tonight with our friend Sly. She has been trying to get us to go to this restaurant for awhile, but the timing never really worked until tonight. The place is where the old restaurant The Cottage used to be, and serves Thai food (which I have never had) and I was really impressed. I ordered a pineapple stir fry, and Neil ordered chicken curry. The food was great and the atmosphere was pretty good too. YUMMY!

So, all in all, we would highly recommend all three of these restaurants if you are looking for somewhere to eat.

Last weekend Neil and I went to Las Vegas because the girls team I coach had a soccer tournament there that weekend. The girls played well and the weather was beautiful! Neil and I also had a chance to stay an extra day because a friend needed help moving some stuff from Vegas to Logan. He paid for us to stay in the Luxor, which was pretty sweet! All in all, it was nice to get away into the sunshine for a couple of days!
