Getting Lost

Neil and I went to the Green Canyon Corn Maze on Saturday night. It was SO much fun and brought back a lot of memories. Neil and I had our first date about 8 years ago at a corn maze and we have really liked going ever since. The weather was great and it wasn't too packed because we went during the USU Homecoming game. It was a blast!

Top of Utah 5k

On Saturday, I ran the Top of Utah 5k. It's a 5k that takes place on the same day as the Top of Utah Marathon, and there was a super fun energy that day. I ran with my friend Sly and her 8-year-old nephew AJ. This was AJ's first race and he did AMAZING! He totally finished before I did, which was awesome. I finished in fourth place in my age division (20-29) with a time of 27:13:04. Sly took second in her age division and AJ took first in the 11-year-olds and under. It was a blast!

Labor Day Weekend

This weekend was busy but a good time! Neil's birthday was on September 3. There was lots of eating out and relaxing. The only real request Neil had for his birthday was an ice cream cake from Coldstone- Yummy!

And of course my weekend wouldn't have been complete without soccer in some form. The girl's team I coach went to Mayor's Cup in Bountiful. The girls played amazing and made it to the semifinals, tying a Premier state team to get there. I am so proud of the girls and it was fun!

We also went up to my family's cabin near Montpelier, Idaho from Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening. There was lots of yummy food and relaxing around the fire. S'mores, family, food, and laughter- that's what I love the most about Labor Day weekend at the cabin! My favorite part this weekend when Neil asked, "What's for breakfast? Cold cereal?" My cousin Melissa laughed and said, "Do we look like the kind of people who eat cold cereal?" We had hash browns, scrambled eggs, bacon and scones. So yeah, no cold cereal in my family. :)

We love the cabin!

This Summer In Review

Neil and I haven't posted for a LONG time, so I thought I would do a post that summed up our summer. This is going to be a little lengthy, but there are lots of pictures to keep you entertained!

The thing I think we both remember the most about June was running the Ragnar Relay. It was such a blast and also a very rewarding experience. SO much fun!

Fourth of July Weekend

We spent the Fourth of July with Neil's family, doing a number of different things. It was fun to spend so much time with everyone.

Water Baseball

Watching the CV Cruise-In

Andi watching the Cruise-In, I guess the horns were too loud!

Waiting for the Logan City Fireworks to start

Watching the Fireworks

Neil and I were able to go to the Park City Adult Soccer Tournament in July- it was way fun this year. The women's team I played on ended up making it to the semi-finals and lost to the team that won the whole thing. It's always fun to play soccer, but it was especially fun to play outdoor soccer again!

The U12 girls team I coach won Cache Valley Cup this year. What a fun tournament!

My 24th Birthday
Neil and I went to Bear Lake on my birthday and out to dinner. It was a fun and relaxing day.

Pioneer Day

Neil was in the Logan Pioneer Day Parade. He was able to ride with Greenline Scooters.

At the Real Salt Lake game on Pioneer Day. RSL ended up coming from behind to win the game and the fireworks after the game were great!

Leslie & Tyler's Wedding

Neil's cousin got married on August 8. The wedding and reception was gorgeous, and the fair theme was really fun. What a cool reception- where else could you get cotton candy, scones, caramel apples, snow cones, churros and more?
