Holiday Memories

We had such a great Christmas this year. It was so much fun, with tons of food, family, and Christmas spirit. I think both Neil and I were reminded about how blessed we really are! We were able to spend a couple nights at my mom's house, and also do some fun stuff with his family. Santa was good to us this year and Neil got both the video camera and TomTom GPS he wanted. (Thanks for all the help from the family on the video camera!) I got pretty much everything I asked for and more, but the most important thing for me this year was spending some time with family. Here are some pictures and a video Neil created of our Christmas this year.

I {heart} Christmas!

We love Christmas. Love, love, LOVE it! I got a little bored today and took some pictures of the decorations around my house and thought I would post them to spread the Christmas cheer. Only 17 days until Christmas! Yay!Here is the wreath that I made this year

World Cup 2010

The World Cup Draw was held this morning for the 2010 World Cup. The World Cup is going to be held in South Africa this summer, and the US Men's National Team had a great draw this year! They are in Group C, with England, Algeria, and Slovenia. Our first game will be on June 12 at 12:30 PM Mountain Time, with the game being broadcast on ESPN. Go USA!!!

Good Bye Sassi

Yesterday was a sad day in our family. Our cat, Sassi, who we've had for 14 years, passed away yesterday. She has been sick for about three weeks and we got the test results back yesterday and she had lymphoma. We had already decided to let her go if the results were bad. We were on our way to the vet yesterday and she decided to do things her own way and died in the car on the way to the vet. She would really rather die than have to go to the vet one more time, so it all worked out in the end! It was very sad, but we are very glad she's out of her misery. We loved having her part of our family and we were so happy to have her for so long! We'll miss ya, Sassi!

This pretty much sums up what she liked to do best!
